Language and Communication for Internationally Educated Agrologists
This course focuses on the language skills needed for success in practicing agrology in Manitoba and in field specific academic programs, such as the IEAP Program. Students also learn about cross-cultural awareness, especially as it applies to the workplace.
CostIf you are a permanent resident of Canada with a Canadian Language Benchmark of 7 or higher there is no fee for this course.

Course Outline
- Lessons are integrated to develop skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
- Students establish shared and individual learning goals.
- Materials and assignments reflect the Manitoba agricultural context.
- Students receive a vocabulary that deals with the language of agriculture in Manitoba.
- Students use a computer lab and the internet.
